Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif is all set to fly to London by a Qatar Airways flight on Saturday morning.

According to 24NewsHD TV, Shehbaz, who is also Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, will leave Lahore for Doha at 4:50am on May 8 by Qatar Airways flight No 621. He will remain quarantined in Doha for 14 days and then fly to England to see his doctors.

Earlier on Friday, the Lahore High Court (LHC) allowed Shehbaz to go abroad for his medical treatment and directed the government to remove his name from the blacklist. Family sources confirmed that preparations for his urgent visit to UK were underway on an emergency basis as he had an appointment with his doctors in London on May 22.

It’s pertinent to mention here the LHC has conditionally allowed Shehbaz to go abroad from May 8 to July 5, 2021.

On the other hand, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said the government would try to stop Shehbaz from going abroad. He said that Adviser to Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Mirza Shahzad Akbar was pursuing this case. He said the government would stop Shehbaz from going to UK through the Interior Ministry.
