Son and a grandson of former Sindh chief minister and PTI leader from Khairpur Syed Ghaus Ali Shah have joined the PPP, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Both Syed Nawaz Ali Shah and Syed Qurban Shah announced their decision at a ceremony held yesterday (Friday), which was also attended by PPP MNAs Syeda Nafeesa Shah and Syed Javed Ali Shah.

Welcoming the newcomers in the party, PPP’s Syeda Nafeesa Shah, who had comprehensively beaten Ghaus in the general elections of 2018, said their decision showed that PPP gives respect to its workers.

She went on to add that such was the pathetic state of PPP’s opponents in Sindh that now they were finding it hard to select candidates for the upcoming local bodies’ elections.
