Gunplay proves fatal for little girl in Islamabad

A little girl accidentally shot herself dead as she was playing with a pistol in Islamabad on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Sources in the police said that 10-year-old Bareera somehow got hold of her father’s pistol in Dhok Kashmiriyan area within limits of Tarnol Police Station.

She was playing with the gun when accidentally she pulled the trigger with the bullet hitting her in the head. She died on the spot.

The police have shifted the body to a hospital for post-mortem, saying they were investigating the incident from every angle.

Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen shot dead a citizen standing on a roadside withinlimits of Nelor Police Station in Islamabad on Tueday.

According to police, the victim was identified as Khizar and his body was taken to a hospital for post-mortem.
