A large number of PPP workers and Darel village residents in Diamir participated in the PPP public rally. Bilawal landed in Gilgit Baltistan on October 21 and has been constantly campaigning for the November 15 elections of Gilgit Baltistan.
“It is my third visit to Gilgit Baltistan but it’s my first visit to Darel village,” he said added “From Khaplu to Darel village, I am constantly knocking at the doors of my party’s officebearers and workers.”
Bilawal said: “I am making three promises to the people of Gilgit Baltistan. First, we will provide employment to the youth of GB, land ownership rights and provincial status to the Gilgit Baltistan.”

The PPP chairman counting the feats of PPP in Gilgit Baltistan said there was a time when this area was called northern areas and it was PPP who gave identity to GB. “We want to make Gilgit Baltistan a province and PPP wants to represent the GB in the National Assembly and the Senate. GB people will take part in the decision making and government making of the country.”
“Prime Minister Imran Khan says he will make GB a province. Strangely, the PM's own government is going to end, is talking about making GB a province.”
“PPP will not let them snatch the subject and impose more taxes on the GB people in the name of making GB a province,” Bilawal said.
