CNG price increased by Rs2 per kg in Punjab

After the surge in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) price, the rate of compressed natural gas (CNG) has also been increased by Rs2 per kg in Punjab. Now the CNG is available at Rs79.20 in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The TV channel reported that the new CNG price per kg will be implemented across the province including Lahore.

Earlier, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) issued a price-revision notification of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for the month of November. As per the notification, the authority increased the locally produced LPG price by Rs114.05 per cylinder of 11.8 kg.

Meanwhile, OGRA has fixed the LPG rate at Rs129,689.49 per metric tonne (MT) for the month of November.

The new price was effective from November 1.
