Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has warned PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif against issuing irresponsible statements against the state institutes that might herald doom for her party, 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to media at Nadra Centre in Lahore on Thursday, the interior minister said that the time for PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif had gone.

“Whatever political gains, PML-N President Shehbaz is making, Maryam ruins everything,” Rashid opined.

The interior minister said that the Pak Army had sacrificed its 86,000 troops to defend this country.

”Maryam is speaking so ill about Pak Army that the PML-N is facing its consequences,” Rashid stated.

He was of the view that raising objections over the usual postings and transfers was also a conspiracy. He appreciated the Pak Army saying that the Army was performing its national duty tremendously well.

Sheikh Rashid warned that instability in Afghanistan could have destabilizing effects on Pakistan too.

The minister lamented that a futile attempt was made to drag the Zaman Park unnecessarily in the Pandora Papers’ leak but nothing came out.

He was of the view that the NCOC was being maligned on the fake Covid-19 vaccine certificate under malicious intent. The widespread publication and broadcasting of dead people vaccination news is going on under a conspiracy, he added.

“NCOC’s efforts are being eulogized all over the world,” he maintained.
