PM advises assemblies’ members to tell people about real situation

Prime Minister Imran Khan has advised every member of the national and provincial assemblies to go to their constituencies and tell the people about the real situation, reported 24News HD TV channel on Thursday.

The PM chaired a PTI Parliamentary Party meeting which discussed a range of issues like Eid Milad-un-Nabi, rising inflation in the country, party affairs, local body elections, electronic voting machine, and overseas vote. 

The PM said that inflation was not only a problem of Pakistan but of the whole world.

The meeting also briefed the core committee members on the situation in Afghanistan. 
On the occasion, the PM announced to celebrate the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awal in a dignified manner at the party and government level. 
PM orders core committee members to inform the public about the causes of the inflation, saying “Every member of the national and provincial assembly should go to his constituency and tell the people the real situation.”
The PM said Pakistan had lower inflation than other countries. 
The core committee was brief that no one could predict the situation in Afghanistan. 
“Pakistan is trying to unite the international community for peace and stability in Afghanistan. The international community must move forward to meet the humanitarian needs in Afghanistan.”
On the occasion, Ali Amin Gandapur and Ijaz Chaudhry talked about the local body elections. The PM gave his opinion saying that there should be local bodies’ elections. 
The members discussed development projects in the core committee meeting as well. The PM directed to complete the development work on time. 
In any case, the next elections will be held through the electronic voting machine, PM said.
