PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has resorted to the Lahore High Court for the return of her confiscated passport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

It was pleaded in the petition that the National Accountability Bureau confiscated her passport in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

The petitioner further pointed out that the NAB law has not imposed any kind of restriction on an accused from travelling abroad. She said she had also deposited Rs70 million in security. She claimed that she was granted bail in Ch Sugar Mills case on merit.

She beseeched the court to order the deputy registrar judicial to return her passport.
