A fake magistrate was arrested on Thursday in Lahore along with his assistant as both the accused used to collect fines from the vendors for violating coronavirus SOPs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The accused used various tactics including sealing the shop for collecting illegal money.

The police have recovered and confiscated a green number plate car, blue lights (used only for government vehicles), fake fine book and cash money from both the accused. 

The police have registered an FIR against the fake magistrate and his accomplice and launched further investigation.
