Pakistani team has been receiving applause from around the world on defeating hosts South Africa in the series decider and becoming the second country to secure more than one ODI series win against the Proteas in their home conditions.

Pakistani team, after the victory, when reached their hotel in Centurion, the hotel staff played songs and even danced with the players to celebrate the series win.

The Pakistani side had secured the series win due to Fakhar Zaman's second successive century and skipper Babar Azam's unstoppable 94 runs to set up a 320-run target to South Africa. Pakistan won the match by 28 runs.

In the latest development, Fakhar Zaman has been included in Pakistan’s squad for the South Africa vs Pakistan T20Is while leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood will replace the injured Shadab Khan in the squad.
