Apparently Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar is losing Prime Minister Imran Khan’s backing and the trust Khan once had in his ‘Wasim Akram Plus’.

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s cold shoulder to Buzdar during his Lahore visit has become a topic of discussion in the media and political circles. Unlike his previous visits, the prime minister did not hold a one-to-one meeting with Buzdar this time. Now there are speculations that the prime minister didn’t hold a one-to-one meeting with Buzdar due to the NAB case against him or maybe some other reasons.

On the other hand, Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat held the first meeting with the prime minister and briefed him about different issues facing the province.

Later, PTI lawmakers from Faisalabad held a meeting with the prime minister and informed him about the issues they had with the chief minister. The prime minister also seemed unhappy with Buzdar due to complaints of the lawmakers.
