PTI leader and former information minister Fawad Chaudhry said on Monday that it was a pity that Hamza Shehbaz, PML-N leader and son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who was facing the charge of laundering a huge amount of Rs24 billion abroad, was allowed to flee to UK while five Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) teams were constituted to probe Rs20 million PTI received in funds from its Pakistani donors abroad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a tweet, he said it appeared that PM Shehbaz and members of his cabinet considered that Pakistanis were fools. “After Muharram holidays, the accountability of those PML-N leaders and police officials on whose orders police had raided PTI workers’ homes and harassed women and children on May 25, 2022 will begin,” he warned.

“It is time that the nation starts preparing for the last phase of its struggle for real freedom,” he commented.
