A session court in Lahore will announce its verdict on a miscellaneous petition filed by singer and actor Ali Zafar in a defamation case against singer Meesha Shafi, who had accused the actor of sexual harassment.

The court will give its ruling on Ali Zafar’s petition on February 13 (Thursday).

Additional Sessions Judge Amjad Ali Shah had reserved the judgment after hearing the arguments from both sides.

Ali Zafar had requested the court to annul the petition filed by Meesha Shafi. He said that Meesha Shafi filed the defamation case as a retaliatory move, and requested the court to stop the hearing emanating from her petition.
