The core committee member of the ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Brigadier (Retired) Qayyum Sher joined the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl group (JUI-F) on Tuesday.

According to the 24News HD TV Channel, Brig Qayyum announced his joining with friends and followers in a special ceremony in Dera Ismail Khan.

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman was also present in the ceremony. Brig Qayyum belongs to Waziristan and after his joining the JUI-F has become stronger in the tribal area.

Brig Qayyum was a candidate from NA-49 South Waziristan in the 2018 elections.
