MNA Abid Raza refuses to assume special assistant’s charge

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader and MNA Chaudhry Abid Raza has refused to assume the charge of special assistant to the Prime Minister, 24NewsHd TV channel reported on Wednesday. 

According to sources, Chaudhry Abid Raza was appointed as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and a notification was issued by the establishment division on Wednesday. However, he declined to accept the portfolio. 

It is pertinent to note, Chaudhry Abid Raza had a special meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Lahore. 

He registered a complaint to Shehbaz Sharif about not getting any government office despite being a part of the ruling coalition from Gujarat. 

According to the sources, Abid said that he had placed all his concerns before Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. 

MNA Abid said that he would continue to serve the people of Gujarat district as a party worker. 

“I wish to do Gujarat politics together with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Chaudhry.” 

He said that he along with Chaudhry Salik Hussain can end Pervaiz Elahi's politics in Gujrat. “It is hoped that the Prime Minister will discuss this issue with Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.”
