The Sindh High Court (SHC) has reserved its verdict on Dania Shah's bail plea in the case pertaining to allegedly releasing the obscene videos of late televangelist Dr Aamir Liaquat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A single bench comprising Justice Umar Siyal presided over the hearing on the bail application of Dania Shah on Wednesday.

Advocate Liaquat Ali Gabol, Dania Shah's attorney, argued that the numbers from which the videos are mentioned to be leaked are not Dania's numbers. “The challan does not contain the name of the intended cameraman. On the basis of these grounds, Dania was sent to jail,” he said.

He contended that this case is weak and asked the court to grant bail to Dania Shah.

Following the conclusion of the proceedings, the court reserved its judgement on Dania Shah's bail request.
