Bride, groom looted on return from marriage hall

A bridegroom and his bride were robbed of their valuables in Lahore on Sunday night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.  

According to details, dacoits who struck the couple at Usman Chowk, Badami Bagh, as they were returning home from their wedding ceremony, looted ornaments, cash and other valuables from them. 

Talking to this scribe, the groom said as soon as they left the wedding hall, some people on a motorbike started chasing them. “They stopped my car at Usman Chowk and fled after looting valuables from me and my wife,” he told 24News.  

Meanwhile, Malik Waqar, the groom’s brother, has lodged a complaint with the police while the police have started investigations.
