Qatar Airways, flydubai repatriate Pakistanis from Middle East

The process of repatriating the Pakistanis stranded in other countries is moving ahead as another special flight landed carrying 256 of them landed in Multan, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

The Flight No 608 operated by the Qatar Airways had arrived from Doha. The same aircraft later returned to Doha while carrying over 380 passengers.

Earlier, another Qatar Airways flight QR-602 brought back Pakistanis from Doha to Peshawar after midnight and later returned to Doha early in the morning.

Also on Friday, the airline is scheduled to operate Dubai-Karachi-Dubai flights.

On the other hand, the Emirates will also operate a special flight for Pakistanis from Dubai to Peshawar during the day.

Meanwhile, a special flight operated by flydubai landed in Faisalabad while carrying 145 passengers.

All the passengers arriving back in the country were shifted to quarantine centre after screening.

Meanwhile, the body of a deceased Pakistani, Kashif, was also transported through the special flight arriving in Faisalabad. Reportedly, he died because of kidney failure.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, more flights are expected from Riyadh to Lahore on May 10, Jeddah to Faisalabad on May 18 and from Dammam to Islamabad on May 21. The three flights will carry 250 passengers each.
