Mohsin Naqvi expresses dismay over poor arrangements at Multan Nadra office

Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi visited Nadra Centre in Multan to get firsthand information on problems being faced by the people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

During the Interior Minister’s visit, the air conditioners and the token machine of the office were out of order and people were waiting for their turn more than 4 hours in long queues.

While seeing the Interior Minister in front of them, visitors shared their problems. One citizen said, “I came in the office for B Form but I am being asked to wait despite the lapse of 4 hours”.

Naqvi expressed disappointment over the arrangements for the visitors and ordered the opening of the Nadra office for 24 hours.

On the occasion, Interior Minister ordered the shifting of Nadra office to suitable location. On the occasion, citizens expressed happiness over the surprise visit of Interior Minister and prayed for his life.

It is pertinent to mention that Interior Minister was visiting various passports and Nadra offices across the country to review arrangements for the visitors.

Mohsin Naqvi few days back visited Nadra Centre located at Zarar Shaheed Road in Cantt area of Lahore. During his visit the interior minister met with citizens who came to get identity cards and other necessary documents.

Mohsin Naqvi inquired about the process of obtaining documents from the Nadra office. He issued orders on the spot to solve the problems of the citizens. The minister also inspected facilities for citizens at the Nadra Centre. He ensured the people that all efforts were being made to provide documents to citizens without delay at the Nadra centres.
