The deadlock between federal civil servants and the government has come to an end as the All Government Employees Grand Alliance (AGEGA) has announced to postpone their sit-in for two days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A large number of federal government employees were holding a sit-in protest in front of the parliament house to press their demands.

AGEGA chairman Rahman Bajwa Tuesday evening claimed that the negotiations between the association and the government officials remained successful while the government had sought two days for issuance of the notification as per protesting employees’ demands.

There is a joint decision of all the organizations that the sit-in will be postponed for two days, Bajwa added. He further said that if the government fails to issue a notification, we will announce the next action plan on Thursday after having talks with the ministers.

We are waiting for notification, that's why we are delaying the sit-in, Rehman asserted.
