Defence Minister Khwaja Asif has said that the federal government is not afraid of the Punjab government while dubbing the cronies of PTI Chairman Iman Khan the most corrupt lot, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Kh Asif was holding a press conference in Sialkot on Saturday. He said that the federal government was not scared of the PTI-backed Punjab government. He said those who were supporting Imran, they were the most corrupt people.

Earlier today, a special judicial magistrate in Rawalpindi issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah for not appearing before the Anti-Corruption Establishment in connection with a corruption inquiry.

A police party from Rawalpindi was dispatched to Kohisar Police Station in Islamabad for arresting the interior minister.

Taking a jibe at former prime minister whose latest audio leak reveals his horse trading maneuvers, the defence minister said that Imran who used to equate buying of votes to ‘Shirk’ was himself involved in it.

“The true face of Imran has been revealed in just four months,” he said adding that in one of the leaked audios, the PTI chief was conspiring to make minutes of the cipher of his ow choice.

Imran can’t be loyal to anyone, the minister rued adding that the former premier was not finding any place to hide his face.

Kh Asif said that Imran fought 2018 election under the slogan of accountability. Where his 2018 slogan has gone now, he wondered.

He wondered where the PTI chief’s slogan regarding Jehad (struggle) against corruption had gone. He asked him what happened to his other promises including providing 10 million jobs to country’s youth.
