Turkish actor Nurettin Sonmez who plays Bamsi in the hit show Dirilis: Ertugrul has a huge fan following in Pakistan. However, television actor Imran Ashraf has also revealed that he is also a huge fan of Turkish historic drama series Dirilis: Ertugrul or Ertugrul Ghazi and his favourite character in the serial is ‘Bamsi’.

Recently a fan commented on Imran’s picture and wrote: “Sir, there are millions of serious issues to be addressed socially, then we say Ertugrul is spoiling our culture.”

To which, Imran Ashraf replied: “Dear brother, I am watching Ertugrul these days and I am huge fan of Bamsi.”

Earlier, Turkish actor Nurettin Sonmez popularly known as Bamsi reached out to his Pakistani fans in an Instagram post.

The actor posted a photograph of the Pakistani flag and said: “Special Thanks to Pakistani Followers… For their sincere comments, nice interests and love… Greetings to You All; Pakistan and Other Beautiful Countries.”
