Sajid Hussain Chattha, a close relative of ex-PM Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and former minister Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, passed away on Thursday.

According to Sajid’s son Ali Sajid Chattha, the funeral will be held at Ahmed Nagar Chattha in Wazirabad after Friday prayers today. The deceased remained a federal secretary.

The PML-Q leaders expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed the Almighty may rest the departed soul in eternal peace. Moonis Elahi, Salik Hussain, Hussain Elahi and Shafay Hussain also expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the demise.
