Singer Meesha Shafi Friday got a huge relief from a Session Court in Lahore as the court set aside an order of personal appearance of the singer, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Additional Session Judge Hamid Hussain while hearing an appeal filed by Meesha also stopped her from depositing Rs100,000 surety bonds in the district court and has sought a reply from the FIA in the case.
Meesha is facing a defamation lawsuit as well as an FIA inquiry for running a smearing campaign against singer Ali Zafar and levelling harassment allegations against him.

Meesha had challenged the notice to appear in a district court in the Session Court.
She alleged that the FIA has registered a baseless and false case against her on behalf of Ali Zafar.
She said she is residing with her husband and children in Canada and cannot travel to Pakistan due to the Corona Advisory of the Canadian government.
Meesha Shafi offered to appear before the court via a video link. She prayed to the Session Court to allow her to appear before the court through a video link.
