No clue has been found which could tell us as to what happened to 434, 000 doses of the vaccine procured for developing the immunity of people against the coronavirus pandemic, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to an official report, out of around 22.5 million doses of the vaccine the government of Punjab has so far received, 20 million have been administered to the people till this date.

The provincial government should have the stock of over 252,000 doses of the vaccine while as a matter of fact it has the stock of over 2068,000 doses as shown by the official data.

Thus, there is a clear-cut difference of 434, 000 jabs of the vaccine.

The health department, on the other hand, has claimed it has with it a complete record of the vaccines procured and administered, and that record is being updated in all districts along with doses of the coronavirus vaccine being administered.
