Three Customs officials shot dead in DI Khan

Three Customs officials were shot dead in Dera Ismail Khan on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources in the police, the incident took place at Kalachi Morr on Kalachi-Quetta road in the limits of Daraban police station when unidentified men started firing indiscriminately at on-duty customs personnel due to which two of them died on the spot while the third one succumbed to his wounds on way to the hospital.

Two of those killed were identified as Farooq Jan s/o Sakhi Jan from Hayatabad Phase-II, Peshawar, and Muhammad Bashir s/o Baseeruddin from Takht Nusrati, district Karak.

Following the killings, police put its personnel deputed at all check posts in the area on a high alert, while a team of investigators also reached the site.
