Three people were killed when a car heading to Nagotal from Kambar Bazaar plunged into a gorge here on Wednesday, police said.

According to details, a fielder car skidded off road while negotiating a sharp turn and fell into a ravine in Sor Kamar area of district Lower Dir.

All three car riders including driver Usama s/o Shahabuddin, Awais Khan s/o Rahatullah and Habibullah s/o Khayal Badshah were killed on the spot in the accident.

The police and Rescue 1122 personnel through joint efforts pulled up the bodies from the gorge and handed them over to heirs.
