A man gunned down his father after verbal clash and fled the scene here on Tuesday.

According to details, the incident took place in village Syedwala of Hafizabad where Irshad Hinjra exchanged words with his son Afzal Hinjra.

The verbal clash turned violent after which Afzal shot dead his father and escaped the scene of crime.

The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and the police after registering a case against the murderer of father started raids for his arrest.
