Only one anti-terrorism court is now working in Rawalpindi as two ATCs were abolished, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
It has also been decided to make ATC judge Raja Pervaiz Akhtar an accountability court judge.
The staff of the abolished court was sent to the surplus pool.
The abolition of the two ATCs is also a sign that there was a healthy decrease in the incidents of terrorism in the country.
