Policemen were arrested on charges of firing at students in the federal capital on Tuesday.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, three students – Huzaifa Rehman, Jarrar and Haider – were coming back from their academy when four cops fired shots at them in the Noon police precincts.

Reportedly, 18-year-old Huzaifa Rehman sustained serious injuries. However, Jarrar and Haider escaped unhurt. Locals rushed him to the hospital.

The mother of Huzaifa said police tried their best to implicate the youth in a crime. However, police said the four cops were arrested and the investigation is on.

Sources said the lawmen fired shots at the youth after they refused to stop when cops flagged down.

The killing of a youth allegedly by lawmen made headlines last year.
