NA session adjourned indefinitely adjourns over lack of quorum

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani Thursday adjourned the session for an indefinite period upon non-completion of quorum, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Zahid Akram Durrani presided over the session in the National Assembly, at the start of which, Jamaate-e-Islami member Abdul Akbar Chitrali prayed for the departed soul of PML-Q member Farah Khan’s sister.

Chitrali, then said that the people are dying of hunger and yet the government has added seven more people to the cabinet.

Pointing out the quorum, he said that the house is empty. The members were counted and the quorum was not complete.

According to the sources, the government adjourned the meeting for an indefinite period after being informed about Assembly members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
