Pakistan on climate change combat

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif is on a two-day visit to Geneva to co-host an international conference on climate change along with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Climate Change Minister Sherry Rehman, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, according to PMO media wing.

Pakistan will present a framework for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of flood-affected areas.

It will shed light on the importance of international cooperation and long-term partnerships to combat the climate change 

Leaders and high-level representatives from several countries and international financial institutions, foundations and funds are expected to attend the conference.
