Police encounter in Rawalpindi, dacoit biker killed, two cops hurt

Two cops were injured and a robber killed in a police encounter in the Pirwadhai area of Rawalpindi on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the motorbike dacoits opened fire on the police at a picket near Pirwadhai when they were stopped during a search operation in the area.
In the counterattack from the policemen, one of the dacoits' bikers died on the spot and another one escaped from the scene.
The Police shifted injured police officials to Holy Family Hospital for medical aid.
The dead body of the robber has also been shifted to the hospital for autopsy. 
After the incident, the police put the city on alert and started the search for the absconding accused.
