In a horrific murder incident, a junkie axed to death his wife in Green Town, Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, accused Ghulam Rasool was an addict. He killed his wife, Sabira Bibi, with the help of an axe when their children were not at home. 

Police collected evidence from the crime scene and sent the body of the woman to hospital for post mortem. 

SP Investigation Irtaza said that raiding teams have been formed to arrest the accused. He assured that police would soon reach the culprit. 

In another incident of domestic violence, a man tried to slit his wife‘s throat with a knife in Hafizabad.

According to details, a brutal husband, Sanaullah tortured his wife along with his brother in Hafizabad. Then he tried to slit his wife’s throat with a knife. But the woman managed to run away.

The video of the incident went viral on social media. 

The victim woman reached the local police station to register her complaint but the police were reluctant to file her case.
