5,571 litres of adulterated soft drinks seized in Attock

Foiling an attempt to play with the health of people, the Punjab Food Authority (PFA), in a major operation just ahead of Eidul Azha, raided a godown in Attock and recovered bottles containing 5,571 liters of adulterated cold drinks, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

Spokesman for the PFA said that a case had been registered against owner of the godown who had been selling these drinks under different brands names across the city.

The spokesman further said that the Authority was keeping on the people manufacturing and selling substandard and adulterated food items in order to protect the health of people.
