Rubina Ashraf is fine and recovering, says daughter

Rubina Ashraf's daughter, Minna Tariq, has requested people not to spread fake news about her mother’s health. Minna denied all rumours of her mother being in critical condition and getting shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "I request everyone to please avoid spreading misinformation about my mother @ashrafrubina, she is fine and recovering," Tariq wrote on her Instagram Story.

"Please pray for her speedy recovery. Regards Minna Tariq," she added.

Earlier, veteran TV actor Rubina Ashraf was tested positive last week for Covid-19. Rumours were the 60-year-old actress is now in a critical condition, as she battles the novel coronavirus.

Industry peers and well-wishers are praying for Rubina’s speedy recovery. Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed, Muhammad Ahmad, Sana Javed, Shagufta Ejaz and others took to social media and requested prayers for the actress.
