The Islamabad High Court (IHC) upheld on Wednesday the verdict of a trial court and rejected the appeals of three convicts in Imran Farooq murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A two-member IHC bench, headed by Justice Athar Minallah, pronounced the verdict reserved and rejected the pleas of Mohsin Ali, Khalid Shamim and Muazzam Ali against their conviction in the case.

It is to be noted here that a trial court in 2020 had sentenced the convicts to life in prison for the 2010 murder of Dr Imran Farooq in London.

Dr Imran Farooq, a senior leader in the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), was stabbed to death outside his home in London.
