Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Lahore tomorrow (Thursday), 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to sources, federal ministers will accompany the premier.

The insiders said PM Imran Khan will meet Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Governor Chaudhry Sarwar, and other party leaders during his Lahore trip.

Earlier in the day, the prime minister had a meeting with ally MQM-P leadership in Karachi. He has been in action to rebuild trust to muster up the support.

The development comes a day after the opposition submitted a no-trust motion against him to the National Assembly Secretariat.

Upon arrival, the MQM-P leadership and PTI members welcomed the prime minister.

Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi, and Planning Minister Asad Umar accompanied the premier.

In his previous visit to Lahore, PM met ex-PM Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhary Parvez Elahi in Lahore.

He took up the political situation in wake of the opposition plan to bring a no-confidence motion.

The PML-Q leadership appreciated the cut in prices of petroleum products and electricity.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and key ministers accompanied the prime minister.
