Ejazul Haq, the head of PML-Z, has said the violation of the sanctity of the mausoleum of former president Gen Ziaul Haq was committed at the behest of PPP Co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Bhutto.

“This is highly condemnable... I am sitting in front of you with a heavy heart,” the son of Zia told the media persons during a press conference

He added that the government should take notice of the matter and bring to book the persons responsible for the deplorable act.

He stressed that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Asif Ali Zardari should be put on trial.

"We demand the Pakistan Army take notice”, he maintained.

Reportedly, a group of PPP supporters visited the tomb in Islamabad yesterday and raised ‘derogatory’ slogans.
