Court sends jail to former PS Muhammad Khan Bhatti on judicial remand

The Court of Rahim Yar Khan Thursday refused to give a physical remand of former Principal Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti to the police and sent him jail on judicial remand.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the police produced accused former PS Muhammad Khan Bhatti before the Rahim Yar Khan court on Thursday.
The police demanded the court to give a physical remand of the former PS but failed and the court sent him to jail on judicial remand.
On the other hand, the anti-corruption department of Lahore submitted a transit remand request to bring Muhammad Khan Bhatti to Lahore.
As per the channel report, former PS to Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi will be brought to Lahore in the 3/23 case filed in Lahore Region A.

Last Thursday (March 02), Quetta Police arrested former Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi’s right hand, Muhammad Khan Bhatti. 
A case was registered against Muhammad Khan Bhatti in Anti-Corruption Establishment for making the corruption of Rs800 million as he is accused of minting money through transfers and postings and receiving commissions in development programmes. On March 2, he was fleeing to Iran.
Director General Anti-Corruption Punjab Sohail Zafar Chattha formed a four-member team to bring him back to Punjab. Bhatti is in the custody of ACE Rahim Yar Khan now. 
The Anti-Corruption Establishment has already arrested XEN C&W Rana Iqbal. Rana Iqbal has got recorded his statement against Muhammad Khan Bhatti in his confession. 
Yesterday (Wednesday), former principal secretary of ex-chief minister of Punjab, Muhammad Khan Bhatti has made startling revelations in his statement confessing that he used to settle money affairs with Moonis Elahi at his house, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During his grilling, when the investigators asked Bhatti where did he use to cut money deals? On this, the former CM principal secretary said that he used to receive cash money inside or outside the house.
He said that XEN Rana Iqbal used to be with him in every task. “I used to settle affairs with Moonis Elahi at his house. I bought sugar worth Rs250 million with the help of the sugar mill in Ghotki,” he added.

The investigators asked him whether he made an investment somewhere else.  
Bhatti replied that he invested Rs100 million in Rahim Yar Khan Sugar Mills through Moonis.
He confessed that he did “business” worth millions of rupees in cash with Moonis.

Bhatti revealed that he spent Rs100 million in the purchase and sale of automobiles. 
When asked how more than 400 employees were recruited in the Punjab Assembly, he replied that Inayat Ullah Luk held interviews and he was the authority to hire them. 
Meanwhile, the Anti-Corruption Establishment has found that Bhatti owns property worth millions of rupees. He is the owner of a poultry farm in Lahore and a control shed. He also owns a house measuring one kanal in Sukh Chain and another 7-marla house in Johar Town, Lahore. 
When the ACE sleuths asked him how much money he had in his bank accounts, he said he had Rs40 million in his bank.
