It is also a call to action for gender equality and women's rights. This day celebrates the progress made in advancing gender equality while also recognizing the ongoing struggle for women's rights worldwide.

It serves as a reminder of the importance of empowering women, challenging stereotypes, and advocating for a more inclusive and equal society for all genders.

Here’s to all of you:

Main utte apni aukaat toh

Eh duniya meri fikaar nahi

Main samajh gayi haar baat nu

I am satisfied with my being;

I have received more than my worth,

I have understood… the opinions of the world are not my concern.”

Model Eman Suleman

Model Eman Suleman shared a reflective and poignant post, questioning the significance of celebrating women amidst an ongoing, one-sided war in which women are suffering.

"It's International Women's Day", the post reads.

"25,000 women and girls have been killed in Gaza. Where is the rage? Where are the hashtags? Where are the Western feminists?" questioned the image.

Iqra Aziz

As someone who is in the public sphere, I get to interact with a lot of young girls and women who are inspired by my work. This realization made me think of how powerful my actions are on those who look towards me. So, if I take care of myself, others will follow suit. That’s why this Women’s Day, I think it’s important to consider an important statistic: 50% of women, including myself, could be at risk of calcium deficiency leading to bone density loss after the age of 25, which can lead to osteoporosis.

That’s why today, I’m raising a glass to bone health with the help of CaC-1000 Plus’ #RozCaDose. I realize that by making my health a priority, I get to help others. So, it’s important to build the habit of daily calcium consumption early on to prevent long-term damage to our bones!

Let’s #InspireInclusion together, ladies!
