Matric exams from today

The annual exams of matriculation under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore will start on May 10 (Tuesday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Commissioners, deputy commissioners and district police officers will visit the examination centres, according to the official sources.

The report of the officials’ visit to the examination centres will be sent to the higher education secretary on a daily basis.

The inspection teams will review the security, law and other administrative matters at the examination centres.

The departments concerned will play a positive role in improving the arrangements at the examination centres.

Section 144 will be enforced at all the examination centres, and, unauthorised persons will be barred from entering the examination centres.

As per the official sources, 759 examination centres have been set up across the provincial capital Lahore.

More than 250,000 children will appear for the matriculation exams.
