A father-of-two fell prey to ‘honour killing’ in Karachi, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

The in-laws allegedly shot and killed Adnan after five years of marriage with their daughter. 

Reportedly, the deceased fell in love with his schoolmate and tied the knot with her.

The pair became the parents of a boy and a girl and they had ‘good terms’ with the in-laws. 

According to the family members of the deceased, his in-laws had reached a legal reconciliation with Adnan.

On the day of the incident, the deceased had a call from his in-laws and as soon as he showed up at their doorsteps, he was shot dead.

The Quaidabad Police has registered a case and launched a hunt for the killer.
