Just a day after the horrific rape and murder of a two-and-a-half-year-old girl in Charsadda, a similar gruesome incident was reported in Chaman where a 10-year-old boy was killed after being sexually assaulted, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Inamullah Dawi, a 10-year-old Hafiz-e-Quran, went missing some days back. Now his body had been found yesterday near the madrassa of which he was a student.

It is reported that the body was hanging from a tree in an orchard adjacent to the madrassa near Mezai Adda in Kalli Dawain. But it isn’t clear yet where the sexual assault was actually committed.

The post-mortem report has confirmed that the boy was sexually assaulted before being murdered, as police registered a case against unidentified persons.

The assistant commissioner of the town said a first information report (FIR) of the incident has been lodged against unknown culprits. The body of the boy was found dangling from a tree in the Mezai Adda area.
