Earlier Rabi Pirzada announced that she has started carrying a handgun during travel after the horrendous case of a woman being robbed and gang-raped near the Lahore motorway came to light.

In a photo shared on Instagram and Twitter, she can be seen in her car holding the weapon’s magazine and ammunition in her palm with the handgun sitting in her lap.

In the caption, Rabi Pirzada wrote that she is going to meet her mother in Gujranwala and she would be travelling from Lahore alone on the motorway. “I wish I could kill such people myself”, she added.

"Who knows better than me that that woman will be punished for someone else’s mistake for the rest of her life”, she said while talking about the motorway incident victim.

She concluded her message by saying that victim blaming is a sin, and we are all guilty of passing snide remarks about those who are oppressed.
