Spokesperson for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Saturday that despite the fact that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government had given an ‘NRO’ to its ministers, it could not save them from the people’s wrath, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reacting to the statement given by Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry, she said the time for the PTI to hurl accusations at the opposition leaders either through Twitter or through statements was up. “You cannot save your ministers and leaders by levelling allegations against PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif,” she said, and added, “All attempts by Prime Minister Imran Khan to prove Shehbaz guilty in corruption cases have backfired.”

“The verdicts given by a court in London, the Lahore High Court and the Supreme Court are enough to prove the point. PML-N president has been given the certificate of ‘Sadiq aur Ameen’ by all these courts,” Marriyum claimed.

“However, it is now time for the prime minister and members of his cabinet to worry since their honeymoon period is over,” she predicted.

Enumerating what she alleged the financial scandals of the present government, PML-N spokesperson said these were sugar scandal worth Rs800 billion, wheat flour scandal worth Rs600 billion, Rs122 billion worth LNG scandal, Rs126 billion worth BRT scandal and over 500 billion worth drugs scandal. “So far only few scams have been reported. People are yet to hear more startling disclosures,” Marriyum claimed.

She asked the prime minister to disclose details of the bank accounts of his ‘corrupt’ ministers and PTI leaders since time was short.
