Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah while criticising Imran Khan-led federal government said the government has been looting the people and making their lives difficult and also wanted to engage opposition parties in terrorism related cases, 24NewsHD TV channel reported Wednesday.

He was talking to media outside the anti-terrorism court in Lahore where his lawyers filed a bail petition before the court. The court approved the bail pleas of the PML-N leader till September 16 and asked him to cooperate with the ongoing investigation as Safe Cities Authorities officials have been tasked to provide camera footage.

It is pertinent to note that PML-N Lahore President Rana Sanaullah is among those booked by police at National Accountability Bureau (NAB) request in a case following the violent clashes in Lahore when PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif was summoned by anti-graft watchdog.

Rana Sanaullah said poor’s life has been made difficult and government’s writ has only been limited to police and NAB.

Commenting on the appointment of new CCPO Lahore Omar Sheikh, Rana Sanaullah said the government was appointing bad reputation officers in the Police force to corner the opposition.

“New CCPO Lahore has been appointed for revengeful activities,” he alleged.

Rana Sanaullah reiterated that after the APC, opposition parties will also go for protest. He termed the police and NAB cases as the incumbent government’s policy of Police-gardi and nab-gardi

He informed that his lawyers are preparing the case and will challenge it in Lahore High court (LHC).
