HEC sets up portal for return of students studying in China

The Higher Education Commission has set up a special portal for the return of Pakistani students to China, reported 24News HD TV channel on Thursday.  
More than 8,000 Pakistani students studying in Chinese universities have not been able to return for a year and a half due to the Covid-19 restriction. The students have been waiting to return to China for a year and a half.

In the HEC portal, 5,800 students entered the data related to Chinese universities. 
The Ministry of Education will contact the Chinese government for the return of Pakistani students to China. Students studying in Chinese universities are stranded in Pakistan.
