Punjab School Education Department has put the attendance and performance records of students online, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported.

Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas while addressing a press conference Friday announced the launch of the Student Performance Evaluation and Tracking System. “A software has been developed to evaluate the performance of children,” he added.

Murad Ras said that parents can also be kept informed along with evaluating the health and sports performance of students.

“In the beginning, the performance of the students from sixth to tenth class will be evaluated with the help of this software. So far, the information of 5 lakh students has been entered into the system”, he added.

He further said that only 176 out of the 650 flood-affected schools are now closed while a non-salary budget will be given to government schools in the next ten days.
