Lahore Corps investiture ceremony

An investiture ceremony of the Lahore Corps was held on Wednesday, ISPR reported.

Corps Commander Lt-Gen Syed Aamer Raza was the chief guest.

The awards of Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military), and Tamgha-i-Basalat were conferred on army officers and soldiers.

Twenty-five officers were awarded Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), 27 Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military), and 18 martyrs were awarded Tamgha-i-Basalat.

The medals of martyrs were received by their family members.

A large number of senior army officers and families of awardees attended the ceremony.
